The Business session is planned for Saturday at 8AM is slated for the Elkhorn Resort in Clear Lake. Saturday evening's dinner will feature the induction of new members into the Broadcast Hall of Fame, a Broadcast Excellence Award as well as a Broadcaster of Tomorrow Award. BAM Awards
The BAM Awards are designed to recognize outstanding broadcasters, industry builders and future broadcast leaders in our industry. During the BAM Conference 2008 we were very pleased to recognize people in the following categories:Menno Friesen - 2008 recipient of The Broadcast Excellence Award. This award is presented annually to the individual who has deemed to have made significant contributions to our industry.
Bill Turner - 2008 recipient of The BAM Hall of FAME, Broadcaster Category. This award recognizes people who have created a legacy in our industry
Not awarded - 2008 recipient of The BAM Hall of FAME, Builder Category.
Not awarded - 2008 recipient of The BAM Broadcaster of Tomorrow. This award will recognize the future stars in our business and was first introduced in for 2007.
BAM is accepting member nominations for each of these awards on the web site. The nomination process for 2009 is open and the due date for all nominations is June 15, 2009. Only one submission per nominee will be considered. Duplicate nominations will not be considered.
